Wonder School Marfa Litter Walk
We invite the Marfa community to join us this Earth Day for a neighborhood litter walk. Meet us at Wonder School Marfa - 118 W. Washington St. at 9am on Saturday, April 22nd. Let’s come together to help keep our town clean, green, and beautiful! Water, hand sanitizer, gloves and bags provided.
Holiday Bazaar
It’s time for some holiday cheer! Support WSM and get your holiday shopping done. There will be plenty of vendors, Santa, crafts for kids, and live entertainment!

Made in Marfa - Chinati Weekend
Wonder School Marfa is hosting a Meatball Fundraiser! Stop by for delicious Smoked Meatballs with Pomodoro Sauce, Grilled Romaine Caesar Salad and Baguette courtesy of Chef Dylan with Easy Wind Catering Co. We invite you to step inside to tour our school & student artwork as well. Suggested donation: $16
Chinati Weekend offers one of the rare times visitors may wander the entire collection at their own pace, as part of a weekend-long, free, public program that honors a tradition of hospitality inaugurated by Chinati’s founder, the artist Donald Judd.
Marfa Lights Festival & Parade
We look forward to participating in this fall’s Marfa Lights Festival! We will have a booth showcasing student art work and sharing details about our school’s mission and efforts. This annual festival includes live music, food and a Saturday morning parade! Speaking of parade… we will have our very own WSM float, and will be introducing “Scout”, our school mascot! Come out and join in all the community fun!
Yard Sale Fundraiser
Our first ever Wonder fundraiser was a huge success! With generous contributions from community members, we collected large amounts of clothing, toys, furniture, etc. A few very dedicated students helped by creating posters to put around town, and also organized a lemonade stand. All together, we raised almost $1,000 to help fund initial operations like rent deposit, advertising and marketing material.
